The ‘sofa’ version of this app gives you a taster of Tregeagle’s tasks wherever you might be on the planet. However, to unlock the full version you will need to visit Kerdroya, the Cornish Landscape Labyrinth (the Cornish hedge land art installation at Colliford Lake, Bodmin Moor, Kernow, PL14 6PZ, GB).



“SANCTUARY!”

Evil old Jan Tregeagle is dead! Now the Black Hunter and his pack of hellhounds are waiting to hunt him down and throw him into the bottomless pits of fire. Tregeagle’s ghost rams his head through the Roche Rock chapel window to claim “Sanctuary!” The only way he can escape is to complete 12 impossible tasks.

WALK THE PATH

Visit Kerdroya, the Cornish Landscape Labyrinth. Follow its single wandering path. You are walking through a footprint of Cornwall. At twelve far-flung points on the map, a new impossible task will be triggered. Now Tregeagle’s ghost needs your help. He needs you to find a … (oh no, every object is named in Cornish!)



FIND WHAT YOU NEED

Explore the 360’ landscape of each Cornish beauty spot to find that key object (beware false bait). Hold your focus on it long enough and its yours.


COMPLETE THE TASK

Now use that object to help Tregeagle complete his impossible task. But watch out, no sooner is one task done than the Black Hunter will be hard on his heels again. You need to find the next trigger point!


FACTOIDS

Each time you complete a task you will open up a whole new set of ‘Factoids’. These will tell you all about the landscape, the rocks and hedges, the wildlife and interesting Cornish stuff about each patch of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Once each set of Factoids is open, they are yours to read straight away or once you get home.


THE HEART OF KERDROYA

Who can say what might be found at the very centre of the labyrinth? Will the hunter become the hunted? Will the prey become the predator? Who is the horned monster now?
